Vijaya first daughter of Gajananrao & Saraswatidevi Patil. Her primary education was in Karanjwade at Karmveer Vidyalay,the school started by Karmveer Bhaurao Anna Patil at Aitwade - centrally situated for the benefit of 10-12 villages. There were no girls in the school but Dada sent Vijaya to this high school. Just after 11th standard she was married to Dr. Bhimrao Patil – who was MBBS from Grand medical college, Mumbai. He soon became the loving family member. He was a great supporter to the family. Vijaya and Bhimrao soon shifted to Mumbai at J.J. Hospital Compound.
