I was reading the poem (by author Linda Jo Jackson)dedicated to Atya by Pranukka. I really think that following two lines are written for no one else but Atya. The first one 'Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free', and the second 'If my parting has left a void,Then fill it with remembered joys'. I would never say that Atya has left her as she has given so many beautiful memories. The one very recent and precious one is the efforts she had put in successfully organizing the family Get-Together Dec 08. Whenever I think of Atya, I remember a short trip from house in Prabhadevi to a book shop in Parel. The traffic was very heavy as usual in that area and Atya was maneuvering the car with ease through it. One thing she mentioned while talking about the traffic and driving skills was 'One should always be an opportunistic and I am one'. I will never forget those words, I have read that line so many times in all the management books but realized what it means that day. I think with her attitude towards life and the nature of caring for everyone has given her all the success she has seen. I salute to what she has achieved. We all can see her contribution in the success of Patil Family. I have till now and will always in the future respect her for what she has done for everyone.
